Jordan Parsons: Dead at 25

MMA Featherweight Fighter, Jordan Parsons, has died.

Parsons was a victim of a hit and run.

On Sunday night, Parsons was hit by a Ranger Rover Lindell Boulevard and South Federal Highway in Delray Beach. Parsons right leg was partially amputated, until faced with a preliminary organ failure, and ended up having his leg fully amputated.

Bellator President, Scott Coker, announced his passing:

“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a dear member of the Bellator family, Jordan Parson. Jordan was an exceptional athlete and a rising star in the sport. But more importantly, he was an exceptional young man. Jordan was hard-working, dedicated, intelligent, and a pleasure to be around. He represented all the reasons we love this sport. It is a terribly tragic loss and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and teammates.”

Parsons record was at 11-2.

Parson’s manager posted a photo on Twitter, in hopes of having any witnessed come forward to identify the vehicle.  The vehicle is believed to have damage on the left side.
